GRID is made by the same people as the TOCA/race driver series (codemasters). GRID features an instant replay feature (Called Flashback ingame) which allows the player to rewind time, you access this mode by pressing start then going to instant replay but you can only go back 10 seconds. Don’t get button happy though because this feature has limited us.

Race Driver: 

GRID uses the Ego engine devolped by Codemasters. This is a an souped up version of the Neon engine already used in their previous release Colin McRae DIRT. It is important to not that The damage code has been totally rewritten to allow for realistic damage environments.
